Prima Dental Group commercializes new carbides for crown and bridge preps

Nov. 23, 2009
Burs deliver a faster, more efficient cut and better preparation surface.

Prima Dental Group has commercialized the new AccuPrep tungsten carbide bur.

While crown and bridge preparation has traditionally used diamond tipped burs, Prima has developed a parallel product with a tungsten carbide fluted drills called Predator AccuPrep.

These burs deliver a faster, more efficient cut and better preparation surface. With the minimum of clogging, less friction and little heat generated, Prima's AccuPrep burs can match popular diamond patterns.

Since November 2007, the product has been market tested in three key Prima markets (U.S., Japan, and France).

AccuPrep is one of a series of innovations that Prima Dental has developed in the global dental product field.
