The new literature, titled Clinical Efficacy of CEREC inLab Restorations, discusses VITA In-Ceram's® nearly 15 years of proven success.

This educational resource provides a compilation of clinical abstracts from various studies from leading universities across the nation that substantiates VITA In-Ceram's success rate. Various topics include Dr. Russell Giordano's comparison of all-ceramic restorative systems; Drs. Castellani and Giovannoni's study on the resistance to fracture of metal- ceramic and all-ceramic crowns; and a look at all-ceramic alternatives to conventional metal-ceramic restorations by Dr. E.A. McLaren.

To date, CEREC inLab has been successfully incorporated in well over 150 dental laboratories throughout the nation. The beauty of CEREC inLab restorations begins at the core, with absolutely no dark lines at the supragingival margin. Additionally, VITA In-Ceram boasts a 98% success rate at 6 years in-vivo. The CEREC inLab system gives the lab technician complete artistic freedom, allowing the laboratory to create a most natural-looking restoration, with a vibrant beauty. In addition, CEREC inLab restorations require no extra work by the dentist, accommodating both shoulder and chamfer preparations. The finished restorations can be placed using either conventional cementation or with bonding agents, allowing for easy placement using standard techniques.
