As a result of an overwhelming number of requests, the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) and the Dental Manufacturers of America, Inc. (DMA) will again co-host the third annual "Entrepreneurial Venture Fair" at the World Dental Trade Conference and Expo in Chicago on Thursday, February 21, 2002 from 8 am to 12 noon at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on the River Walk, 151 East Wacker Drive.
As before, the goal of the Fair is to foster the commercialization of new technologies by creating strategic alliances between inventors and the global community of dental manufacturers and distributors. DMA members representing more than 220 manufacturers in the US and Canada will be in attendance. In addition, there will be manufacturers and distributors from Europe, Asia and South America.
Private Companies, University, Federal, and State Laboratories are invited to present novel technologies at this unique "Fair" venue. There will be no charge for participation.
To participate in this unique and potentially profitable opportunity to showcase your discovery/invention to a group with resources to turn your innovation into a successful product, please provide a one-page (8.5x11") description of your product. The write up should include: a title; company (name and contact information); presenter(s) (name and contact information); some background on invention; a description of product(s) (include patent, regulatory status, and market and manufacturing information). Please do not include photographs or graphs (line drawings) in the write up and, except for the title, use a 12-point font.
