ADEAGies Foundation awards

Awards presented in conjunction with 2011 American Dental Education Association Annual Session & Exhibition.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Individuals and organizations from across the country were recognized March 14, 2011, in San Diego, Calif., with the ADEAGies Foundation’s annual awards for upholding the highest standards of dental education.

Named after William J. Gies, a pioneer in dental education, the William J. Gies Awards for Vision, Innovation, and Achievement were presented at a celebration in conjunction with the 2011 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition.

The 2011 honorees were selected by a panel of judges consisting of the ADEAGies Foundation Board of Trustees.

The Gies Awards are presented by the ADEAGies Foundation, ADEA’s philanthropic arm. For more than 50 years, the ADEAGies Foundation has enhanced the oral health of the public through programs that support dental education, research, leadership, and recognition.
