Kids Smiles operates nonprofit dental centers that provide dental services and outreach programs to underserved children in its community from the ages of 0 to 15. There are currently two Kids Smiles facilities, one is located in southwest Philadelphia and the other in west Philadelphia.

The opening of the new Washington, D.C., Kids Smile facility is the third such facility in the nation and part of its expanding plan to offer care to children in need throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

“Kids Smiles facilities depend solely on the charitable donations of individuals and organizations, and we’re more than proud to say that we support this worthy cause,” remarked Randy Arner, vice president of marketing for DentalEZ Group.

Kids Smiles is dedicated to treating the whole child in order to develop positive dental health habits.

“As a grassroots organization focused on delivering as much dental care as possible to vulnerable children and with limited resources, we are very grateful to receive support and this generous donation from the DentalEZ Group,” remarked Cheryl Janssen. “Both our staff and patients will greatly benefit from these high-quality, comfortable chairs and stools where thousands of services will be rendered for many years to come.”

The ergonomically designed J/V-Generation Chair allows a patient to recline in the most anatomically correct position possible while providing the dentist with unencumbered movement and unrestricted access to the oral cavity. The chair’s adjustable, independent seat tilt feature helps maintain proper spinal alignment to reduce stress on the discs and soft tissue around the patient’s spine.

The Generation Premium Doctor’s Stool is ergonomically designed to provide maximum efficiency and comfort and reduce physical strain on the dental professional. The stools are equipped with a broad caster base and five casters to improve stability and allow better movement. The have adjustable back support, easy height adjustment and a seat tilt feature.
