PracticeWorks name change

ATLANTA, Georgia--PracticeWorks Systems, a subsidiary of Carestream Health and the exclusive manufacturer of KODAK Dental Systems, has announced a corporate name change to Carestream Dental, LLC, effective Sept. 1, 2010. The company's headquarters will remain in Atlanta.

The name change is part of the larger rebranding of the global dental businesses of Carestream Health, all of which will adopt the Carestream Dental brand as of Sept. 1, 2010.

The "PracticeWorks" name has been used for more than two decades by affiliated companies around the world, achieving company and product recognition in the United States, United Kingdom, Sweden, Australia, and New Zealand. Each of these affiliated Practiceworks companies will change their corporate name to Carestream Dental.

Customers, vendors and partners will find no change in the services offered, obtaining information on products, or services, or conducting business with the new business identity. Along with the name change, PracticeWorks Systems will adopt the new Carestream Dental brand identity, and future business activity will be conducted under the new name. Carestream Dental will remain the sole manufacturer of dental imaging systems bearing the KODAK brand name.
