Brain-Pad dual-arch mouth guard and NatureZone sanitizing chamber recognized among the top new products at the annual meeting.

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pennsylvania--Brain-Pad, a leader in athletic products that reduce the risk of concussions while increasing endurance and performance, has announced being named among the top new products at the Henry Schein Dental Nntional sales meeting held Aug. 5-8, 2010, in Washington, D.C.

Eight top products were chosen, including the Brain-Pad dual-arch mouth guard and Brain-Pad's NatureZone UV/Ozone sanitizing and deodorizing chamber for oral appliances.

Henry Schein provides health-care professionals with a range of products and services to enhance patient care and improve practice productivity. The Henry Schein Dental national sales meeting is one of the dental industry's largest gatherings with nearly 2,000 people in attendance, including more than 1,100 Henry Schein Dental sales representatives.

The company's field sales consultants were asked to vote on products from the 89 exhibiting supplier partners. The top products were chosen based on uniqueness, the educational value of the presentations, and overall impressions about which products stood out the most.

Brain-Pad's flagship product is its line of dual-arch athletic mouth guards proven to reduce the risk of concussions from lower jaw impact. Unlike traditional mouth guards that offer protection for either the upper or lower teeth only, Brain-Pad is a dual arch, bi-molar mouth guard.

Also named a top product was NatureZone, a UV/Ozone sanitizing and deodorizing chamber that destroys germs and bacteria on oral appliances, including mouth guards, retainers, dentures, and night guards in just three minutes.
