December Proofs Note from the Editor

Dec. 17, 2010

Ah yes, Father Time … you’re nearing the end of your run for 2010. Many will say good riddance to you after a year of economic troubles, while many will look back on you with fond memories. Whatever side you take (or even a mixture of the two), everyone seems to use this time of year to reflect on what has happened since midnight on Jan. 1. If you’re like me, you have a hard time remembering what happened last week, let alone everything that has happened in 2010. Luckily, the folks at Google did a great job wrapping up the year in a little less than three minutes. Take a look at this video to remember what was in 2010.

As we usher 2010 out the door and await whatever lies ahead in 2011, I wanted to give you an exclusive preview of one of the articles that will be in the January print edition of Proofs. Along with some of the editorial board members of Proofs, I went through the industry news stories of 2010 and pulled out the 10 that made the biggest impact on dentistry. You can take a look at the article by clicking here. See what you think, see what you’ve forgotten, and see what we missed. You can always let me know by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

Later this week, I’ll be celebrating Christmas with my family. I’m looking forward to the moments with my daughter and hopefully creating some wonderful memories that will last forever for both of us. For those who will be celebrating this wonderful day along with me, I wish you a blessed Christmas.

I hope that these last few days of 2010 are filled with family, love, and hope for you. Thank you for being a subscriber to the Proofs e-newsletter, and here’s to a bigger, better 2011 for all of us … no matter how great your 2010 was.

Read on, this is your e-newsletter.
