NCOHF dental clinics benefit from large donation of toothbrushes, hand sanitizers from Dr. Fresh

More than 30 non-profit dental clinics received donations of toothbrushes and hand sanitizer thanks to America’s ToothFairy: National Children’s Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) and Dr. Fresh, LLC.

More than 30 non-profit clinics and organizations providing dental services to underserved children received donations of toothbrushes and hand sanitizer thanks to America’s ToothFairy: National Children’s Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) and Dr. Fresh, LLC. The recipient organizations collaborate with America’s ToothFairy to increase access to dental services and ensure children have the tools they need for good daily health habits.

Dr. Fresh, LLC, is a leading provider of oral care products for all ages sold under well-known brands including Firefly, REACH, Dr. Fresh, Binaca and Dazzling White. Valued at more than $137,000, the donation to NCOHF included more than 39,000 Reach Disney Phineas and Ferb toothbrushes and 38,000 bottles of Angry Birds hand sanitizer.

Kemple Memorial Children’s Dental Clinic (KMCDC) in Bend, Oregon, was selected to receive toothbrushes from Dr. Fresh. KMCDC provides dental screenings, fluoride varnish applications, sealants, and oral care kits to children in nearly 20 area schools.

“When we visit the schools for screenings, it is amazing how many children tell us they don’t have a toothbrush at home,” said Debbi Smith, KMCDC Manager of Programs and Operations. “We couldn’t do what we do without the support of organizations like Dr. Fresh and America’s ToothFairy.”
