AADC, NDECIC offer reciprocal membership privileges

Aug. 4, 2008
In 2010 and 2011, AADC and NDEDIC have agreed to hold joint annual meetings.

The American Association of Dental Consultants (AADC) and the National Dental EDI Council (NDEDIC) have agreed to offer reciprocal membership privileges to their respective members for event registration. In 2010 and 2011, AADC and NDEDIC have agreed to hold joint annual meetings.

NDEDIC members who attend the annual AADC Spring Workshop and regional seminars will receive the AADC member rate. Likewise, AADC members who attend the NDEDIC annual conference and regional seminars benefit from receiving the NDEDIC member rate.

"We're excited about the new reciprocal membership arrangement with NDEDIC because it opens up a whole new opportunity for discussion and education for the members of both of our organizations," says AADC immediate past-president Robert Laurenzano, DMD, FAGD. "We respect NDEDIC as an organization, and look forward to a promising partnership."

The American Association of Dental Consultants is a professional association for dentists and others involved in the dental benefits industry. Most members are actively practicing general dentists or specialists. Non-dentist affiliate members of the AADC work in the dental benefits industry and affect the policies and benefit designs that determine coverage for dental services.

NDEDIC is the only organization that unites all stakeholders in the dental industry to promote electronic commerce, providing a forum for dental EDI. (Electronic Data Interchange)

The first joint AADC/NDEDIC annual meeting will be held in San Diego, CA at the Marriott Mission Valley Resort, May 6-8, 2010.
