Kuraray held its first dental adhesive meeting April 5, 2009, in New York.

Guests included two university researchers from Japan and four U.S. opinion leaders. Many clinical adhesive issues were discussed, including self-etching bonding for enamel, and marginal staining concerns (white, gray, and blown lines).

Researchers and practitioners from around the globe discussed and shared their opinions about dental adhesion.

Kuraray is inventor of the total-etch system for adhesive bonding, CLEARFIL BOND SYSTEM F (1978), and the inventor of the self-etch adhesive bonding product, CLEARFIL LINER BOND II (1993).
