CHICAGO--Maxine Feinberg, DDS, a periodontist based in Cranford, N.J., was installed as a trustee of the American Dental Association at the ADA's 150th Annual Session and World Marketplace Exhibition.
Dr. Feinberg will serve on the ADA Board of Trustees as the trustee from the fourth district, which represents Delaware, the District of Columbia, the Federal Dental Services, Maryland, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. The ADA Board formulates and reviews policies and programs and makes recommendations to the members of the ADA's governing body, the House of Delegates.
As a member of the ADA Board, Dr. Feinberg will play a major role in the ADA's organizational objective of being America's leading advocate for oral health.
Dr. Feinberg is a past president of the New Jersey Dental Association and the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry, and has been a delegate in the ADA and New Jersey Dental Association House of Delegates.
Dr. Feinberg initiated the New Jersey Give Kids A Smile campaign for 2002 and 2003, and served as chair of the ADA's Council on Members Insurance and Retirement Programs from 2007 to 2008.
Dr. Feinberg is a graduate of New York University and the New York University College of Dentistry.
