ROCK HILL, South Carolina--Rock Hill employees of KOMET USA supported the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte April 28, 2009, by wearing special RMH T-shirts.
The T-shirts were purchased by 21 employees during the charity's "Sport a Shirt, Share the Night" fund-raiser. T-shirts were purchased for $10 each. The cost covers a donation for a family to stay at the House for one night while children are treated at Charlotte-area hospitals.
"Being in the health-care industry, we all know how much a family needs support while their child is sick," said Warren A. White, KOMET USA's chief operating officer of sales and marketing. "We're excited about our partnership with the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte because it will be a great resource for the families of this community. Our employees are thrilled about getting involved in such a meaningful way."
