Decreased cost makes natural oral care more accessible to consumers.

MEDFORD, Massachusetts--The Natural Dentist has announces a price roll back on mouth rinses.

The decision allows the company, a leader in all-natural oral care space, to place natural products made with premium ingredients within reach of the general consumer. The price decrease will make natural oral care more accessible.

All mouth rinses, which include Antigingivitis Rinse, Pre-Brush Whitening Rinse, Healthy Gums Mouth Rinse, Healthy Teeth Anticavity Fluoride Rinse, and Healthy Teeth Fluoride Rinse will change from $9.99 to a suggested retail price of $6.99 for a 16-ounce bottle.

The 30% price decrease will appear on retail shelves April 1, 2009.

"Early research shows the natural trend is weathering the economic downturn, but families are making tough decisions," said Jeff Powers, vice president of global sales, Natural Dentist. "Compromising on oral health shouldn't be one of them. Decreasing the price of our mouth rinse not only engages consumers with the brand, but it allows natural to be a viable choice when it comes to consumer's mouths."

The American Dental Association recommends a three-part regimen to maintain a healthy mouth: brushing teeth twice daily, flossing and using an antimicrobial or fluoride mouth rinse. The Natural Dentist mouth rinses are scientifically proven to support oral health, prevent cavities, freshen breath, and kill germs with natural ingredients like peppermint and sage oils, grapefruit seed extract and aloe vera gel.

The Natural Dentist mouth rinses pair with their toothpaste counterparts, which are also clinically proven. The cost of toothpaste will remain the same with a suggested retail price of $4.99.

The Natural Dentist's rinses are specially formulated to be natural and effective without the use of alcohol, dyes, harsh chemicals and detergents, bleach, or artificial ingredients. The Natural Dentist mouth rinses contain natural ingredients, which do not cause staining of teeth or burning, as well as herbal ingredients to soothe and protect teeth and gums.

"The decision to roll back the price of our mouth rinses was met with great enthusiasm from our retail trade partners," Powers remarked. "Our rinses are available in 30,000 stores nationally including Whole Foods, leading drug chains and select supermarkets."
