Thousands to receive free Dentistry on Valentine's Day

A total of 17 events in 15 states to highlight efforts by Dentistry from the Heart.

TAMPA, Florida--While many people look forward to chocolates and flowers, hundreds of American's will receive the gift of a free smile this Valentine's Day.

Dentistry from the Heart will host its busiest day of the year--17 events in 15 states providing thousands people with free dentistry.

February's free dental care events kicked off in Tampa, Fla., where Dr. Vincent Monticiolo--founder of Dentistry from the Heart--provided more than 500 people with free dental care at Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry.

Patients from across Florida camped out in freezing conditions to receive much-needed relief through a variety of free dental services offered at the Feb. 6 event.

Out to change lives from coast to coast this Valentine's Day weekend, 17 dental practices will host Dentistry from the Heart events.

In 2001, Dentistry from the Heart started as Dr. Vincent Monticciolo's way of giving back to the community and providing aid to the growing number of Americans without dental insurance.

Annually, Dr. Monticciolo and hundreds of volunteer dentists across America provide thousands of people with free extractions, fillings, and cleanings.
