Welcome to the inaugural issue of Dental Office! We’re excited to launch this new publication geared toward the entire dental practice, with a special emphasis on dental assistants. In fact, an entire section of this magazine - and every issue forthcoming - is devoted to the dental assistant. Within these pages, you’ll find articles designed to help the dental assistant enjoy his or her job more and become the best professional that he or she can be. In this issue, you’ll find articles from Mary Govoni, Eve Cuny, Victoria Wallace, and Hollie Bryant - all dental assistants who are writing to help you succeed in your career. These are just some of the people who will be contributing to Dental Office throughout the year.
At Dental Office, we value the dental assistant and the role that he or she plays in the success of the dental practice. We know you will see this reflected in every issue of Dental Office. This is our first issue, and there will be four others in 2007 - March, June, September, and November.
In addition, Dr. Jeff Carter will lead off every issue of Dental Office by examining the design of an outstanding dental practice. Dr. Carter, the co-founder of Practice Design Group in Buda, Texas, is an expert in dental office design and I know you’ll like reading his “insider’s opinion” about what makes a dental practice more than just a pretty building.
After the assistants section, you’ll find a wealth of product information. Be sure to take a look and see what new products are out there and what current products could help your practice become even more successful.
I encourage your questions or comments. Please drop me a line at [email protected] and let me know what you think of the new magazine. We’re working hard to make Dental Office a regular part of your dental office.
Read on, this is your magazine...
