The D-Carie mini™ by neks Technologies, Inc.
The D-Carie mini is a new pen-sized, cordless caries-detection device designed to make locating and diagnosing even the tiniest caries simple, fast, and accurate. D-Carie mini requires no calibration - simply maintain contact with the tooth’s surface. The presence of both occlusal and interproximal caries is identified by two signals: audible and visual (green light turns to red). D-Carie is effective in a humid environment, requires only a normal tooth cleaning prior to use, and is sterilizable.

NuBend 120° angled ampule now available
NuBend 120° is specially angled to allow injection of composite in those hard-to-reach areas. NuBend 120° is a great companion to the traditional 45° ampules, especially in areas such as linguals of lower teeth, the distal of a terminal maxillary tooth, and undercuts on crown preps that require coring. NuBend composite is a light-cured, resin-based microhybrid allowing superior strength and polishability. The composite has a viscosity that is easy to handle and will not slump.
NuBend composite comes in four colors: A2, A3, A3.5, and B2. Color matching is more forgiving in these inaccessible areas. More colors can be added if the demand exists.
NuBend 120° is available for purchase at $77 per jar of 20 prefilled ampule tips. For more information and product offers, visit commonsensedental.com.
