"1830 Dentist"

I have no actual information on this image. I am guessing about 1830 from the clothing. What is with the dog and the broken pot on the floor? And the people at the door? It seems these old dentist paintings always show an extraction with a crowd looking on.

Dental art is anything that depicts teeth or dentistry in an interesting or artistic way. If you have any suggestions for future Dental Art pieces please send them to me or give me a link. Thanks.
