CHICAGO, Illinois--Oral Health America has announces its 23rd Annual Gala and Benefit set for Feb. 20, 2013, at Chicago’s Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier.

The 2013 theme, Connecting America with Smiles, reflects the Chicago-based nonprofit’s mission. Since 1955, OHA has been dedicated to connecting communities with resources to increase access to care, education and advocacy for all Americans, especially those most vulnerable.

“We are always amazed by the support we receive from the dental community to raise significant funds for our programs that help Americans across the nation,” said Beth Truett, president and CEO, Oral Health America.

“I would especially like to thank the 2013 sponsors who are integral in the success of the event and allow OHA to bring healthy mouths to life.”

The black-tie fete includes a gourmet dinner, a live band, and industry networking. The gala will also feature a live and silent auction. Auction items include a trip to Tokyo, unique experiences with Henry Schein and Patterson Dental executives, and excursions to tropical paradise. Supporters can participate in an online raffle for ech gadgets and recreational sports equipment.

“As the 2013 gala committee chair and as an OHA board member, I appreciate the loyal support from like-minded corporation and organizations,” said Mike Orrechia, vice president–general manager, Septodont-Confi-Dental Division.

“This event is a spectacular demonstration of the industry’s shared vision for oral health.”

Set among one of Chicago’s landmark destinations for the third consecutive year, Oral Health America’s 23rd Annual Gala and Benefit is a highly anticipated event. More than 900 guests are expected to attend and raise support for resources, access and advocacy across the country. In 2012, more than $500,000 was raised to support the non-profit organization.
