RICHARDSON, Texas--D4D Technologies, a developer of digital technologies for dentistry, has announced the 200th dental professional has successfully completed the CAD/CAM Dental Designer program.

Dental assistants and technicians who undertake this self-paced study program have demonstrated skills and understanding of CAD/CAM technology, design principles, and restoration stain and glaze techniques, and have shared their knowledge and experience with others in an online forum. Participants must also pass a practical exam and a written exam to complete the program.

“E4D University introduced the CDD program in 2008 to help dental assistants and inoffice technicians develop the skills for success in a modern dental practice,” said Diane Mazzarella, director of education at D4D Technologies.

“We’re delighted to reach this milestone and proud to have 200 CDDs in 37 states in the U.S. and four provinces in Canada. We look forward to expanding that number significantly in the year ahead.”
