July 9, 2013 - The Speaking Consulting Network (SCN) announced during their annual meeting in Loveland, Colorado June 5-7 2013 the first members to be given the new Fellow of the Speaking Consulting Network (FSCN) credential. The FSCN credential is granted to individual members who have reached an exceptional level of achievement as professional speakers, authors, and consultants as evidenced by their meeting the rigorous credentialing requirements outlined by SCN.
The members who were deemed Fellows of the Speaking Consulting Network were:
Linda Miles, CSP, CMC, FSCN – Linda Miles is an icon in the dental industry. For over 40 years she has been a speaker, consultant and writer both nationally and internationally. She has published two books, written voraciously and spoken numerous times at every major dental meeting across the country. Miles was CEO and President of Linda Miles and Associates, a prominent practice management consulting firm, until 2007 and founded SCN in 1997.
Lois Banta, FSCN – Lois Banta is an international speaker, consultant and the CEO and owner of Banta Consulting, a renowned dental practice management firm specializing in all aspects of dental practice management with special expertise in Accounts Receivable management, team communication, and claims processing. She is also the new owner and CEO of the Speaking Consulting Network.
Linda Cannon, FSCN – Linda Cannon is the President and CEO of Medical Safety Development Services (MSDS). Linda has been speaking, writing and consulting within dentistry for over 20 years and specializes in OSHA and HIPAA compliance, risk management, infection control, hazardous communication, and regulatory inspections for dental practices.
