Midmark Corporation has introduced the new VistaCool direct-to-drain system for dental offices. This new product is designed to reduce the temperature of sterilizer wastewater and to eliminate risk and the need to manually empty messy condensate tanks.
VistaCool is designed to help protect staff, reduce sterilizer maintenance, guard drains, and prevent mold and mildew (caused by spills and exhaust from condensation systems) from collecting on cabinets. VistaCool helps reduce the number of used condensate bottles and tanks, and it can prevent plumbing issues that occur when wastewater is not sufficiently cooled before it is poured down the drain.
“The new VistaCool system helps to improve safety and the overall flow and efficiency of any dental office,” said Cathy Klein, product manager of instrument processing for Midmark. “This new solution allows dental professionals to spend more time chairside and less time tending to office equipment. Less work for staff means more time to care for patients.”
With two models available, VistaCool is the only direct-to-drain system designed and tested to work with Midmark automatic sterilizers. The single unit is designed to be compatible with the Midmark M3 UltraFast Automatic Sterilizer, and the double unit is designed for use with any two current Midmark sterilizers in any combination, including the Midmark M3 sterilizer or the Midmark M9 and M11 UltraClave Automatic Sterilizers.
