Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly has announced that he has jaw cancer.

Jim KellyJim Kelly, Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame quarterback, is suffering from squamous cell carcinoma in his upper jaw. He will have surgery on Friday, and says that doctors have claimed that his prognosis for recovery is “very good.”

Kelly made the announcement Monday morning and stated, “I am extremely confident in my road to recovery. I plan to tackle this challenge head on, as we Kellys always do, with toughness, perseverance and faith.”
