Japan relief efforts

March 22, 2011

Many of us could not believe the images on television when we learned of the devastating 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan. At this moment, the full extent of the damages and loss of life are not known, and there are still concerns of radiation leakage from at least two nuclear power plants.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all of the Japanese people.

RDH eVillage readers wishing to make a donation might consider doing so through the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. In addition, Henry Schein established a matching humanitarian relief fund as described here.
