Comments about the Denver area
- There is a definite surplus of dental hygienists in the Denver area. I have noticed from recent job postings that the average wage has dropped by $5 an hour (ouch!) They are trying to open up two more fast track hygiene programs here, which will flood the market even more. This is a major concern to our local hygiene association and they are trying to lobby against it. I feel like my skills and the nature of this job are being highly compromised due to these actions!
