Do you know the Mentor of the Year in Dental Hygiene?

Sept. 30, 2005
Nominate your mentor for the award presented by Sonicare and RDH magazine.

The registration for the 3rd annual Sonicare/RDH "MENTOR OF THE YEAR" award will end October 7, 2006!

A mentor is a caring friend who devotes time to another individual. In the dental hygiene profession, mentors are essential. Mentors can fill any number of different roles. However, all mentors share a common interest: they care about helping their peers achieve their potential and discover their strengths.

A mentor's primary purpose is to help another hygienist define and achieve goals. While those goals vary for each individual, the mentor is challenged to encourage the development of an individual in all aspects of dental hygiene, forging a flexible relationship that draws on the wealth of the mentor's skills and interests.

Please take a few minutes to tell us your story how your mentor has helped you to provide better care for your patients, and how this relationship has changed your career and/or life. Mail your story about who mentored you, including your name and contact information to
