Excitement high for 9th annual AADOM conference

Sept. 9, 2013
Dental office manager conference becomes more exciting each year

Red Bank, NJ – The American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) is excited to welcome attendees to their nearly sold out conference set in Orlando Sept. 19 and 20. The conference will take place at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. The program line-up will offer up to eight continuing education hours toward AADOM’s Fellowship Program. The conference has sold out in the last two years to both attendees and exhibitors.

The conference is for dental office managers, practice administrators, and anyone involved in the business end of the practice. Attendees will be able to choose from a wide variety of topics specific to the efficient and successful management of the dental office. Presentations will be given on risk management, team communications, leadership and insurance coding updates. Special focus will also be given to financial indicators and human resources. AADOM is very pleased to welcome best-selling author and motivational educator Linda Larsen, CSP, as this year’s keynote speaker.

AADOM President Heather Colicchio is looking forward to seeing both returning members and new members at the conference. “Our team knows our members expect quality education, but it’s also important for us to provide fun and networking time. Orlando is the perfect venue! The buzz has been continuing consistently and positively.”

On the day before the conference AADOM will host a Software-Palooza in which members can receive focused training on select software suites. AADOM will also conduct a new member orientation and an ambassador training on the pre-conference day. In addition to the conference offerings, the Dental Spouse Business Network (DSBN) will meet on September 21. DSBN has grown every year and has become a "must-attend" for dental spouses. Speaker Debra Englehard-Nash will address dental spouses on the topic of work-life balance. AADOM will also induct the 2013 class of Fellows at this conference.
