Recently, Sirona USA, Charlotte, NC held the first-ever CEREC Roundtable Symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona. The symposium brought together a group of worldwide leading academicians, clinicians and practice management experts to learn more about the CEREC System, and share valuable insights, that will contribute to the future developments of chairside CAD/CAM technology.
At the Symposium, a panel of nine CEREC experts shared their professional experiences; discussed the science behind the technology; outlined the features and benefits of the available materials for use with the CEREC system and presented clinical and scientific data demonstrating the efficacy of CEREC restorations. A summary roundtable discussion moderated by Steven Duke, DDS, was held following the presentations. In an effort to educate interested dental professionals, the findings from the discussions have been published by Dental Learning Systems, offering the opportunity for clinicians to receive 3 hours of Continuing Education (CE) credits.
"As doctor and patient demand for restorative services continues to grow, we continue to strive to deliver a quality product that helps meet the needs of a fast-changing marketplace," explains Steve Sutton, Director of CEREC Support. "We appreciate the valuable insight provided by the professional leaders in attendance at the Symposium, and are pleased to offer this educational information to the dental community."
