VERSAILLES, Ohio--Midmark Corporation has announced its new Track Light Monitor for the dental industry.

This product combines dental lighting with monitor positioning, enabling dental professionals to enhance the patient experience while improving efficiency and case acceptance.

Positioning is achieved through a two-trolley design, allowing independent movement of the light and monitor. The counterbalanced flex arm permits height and side-to-side adjustability for patient viewing while supine or upright.

Effortless tilt and swivel are made possible with the balanced monitor mount, further optimizing monitor placement for education and co-diagnoses of intra-oral camera images, digital x-ray, practice management and patient education software.

The optional 17-inch dental grade monitor offers a quality picture with 16.7 million colors and 1280 x 1024 resolution. Sealed display, control buttons and speakers withstand the use of disinfectants.

The fully integrated converter consolidates inputs from TV, DVD and PC. Inputs include: VGA, RCA composite, S-video, 3.5mm stereo, R/L stereo audio RCA and coaxial cable. Future expandability is simplified and clutter is reduced.

An on-board TV tuner is cable ready and includes an easy to use remote control. Patients can relax while enjoying their favorite DVD or TV program. Patients who are relaxed tend to move less during long procedures, thus allowing the doctor to work more efficiently.

The Midmark operating light offers advanced lighting essential to accurately matching shades, identifying details and diagnosing tissue. Features include shadow reduction, automatic motion controlled on/off function and upfront touchpad controls with three intensity settings and an independent composite safe setting.

An integrated PC board monitors and adjusts the voltage to ensure color corrected brightness. Three axes of rotation allow for precise positioning and the light pattern has a feathered edge to minimize eye strain.
