Louisiana dental hygiene campus expands outreach thanks to grant

The University of Louisiana at Monroe Mobile Dental Hygiene Unit began providing accessible dental hygiene care to northeastern Louisiana in 2010. The Living Well Foundation recently donated $11,700 for operational expenses and supplies.

Grants provided by the Living Well Foundation has allowed the dental hygiene program at the University of Louisiana to expand its "Mission Possible" outreach efforts, and dental hygiene students continue to provide care in rural northeast Louisiana.
