P.A.C.~live announces its new Functional Anterior course in Vancouver, B.C., scheduled for March 28-30 and April 25-27. This live-patient, hands-on program features some of the finest clinical faculty members in aesthetic dentistry. Held in conjunction with the University of British Columbia at Vancouver, the program will feature all of the same courses and faculty currently offered at its program in San Francisco.
Nine P.A.C.~live courses are scheduled in 2003, with the first of many expansion courses scheduled for Vancouver, BC. The Functional Anterior course is the first step in the program's continuum which begins with advanced restorative anterior work and ends following a full mouth rehabilitation course. The Functional Anterior course is a 6-day program covered over 2 weekends, where clinicians conduct hands-on treatment, under the guidance of a clinical instructor, of 8-10 anterior units. Throughout the course, attendees will learn Smile Design, advanced Adhesion techniques, photography, prep techniques, custom provisionalization, and contouring. Using a 2-1 clinician to faculty ratio, P.A.C.~live offers personalized instruction and unparalleled attention.
"We're really excited about going to Vancouver", says Dr. Ed Lowe, the Clinical Director at P.A.C.~live. "The only problem we have now is that our entire faculty wants to teach at this program." Dr. Lowe is a graduate of the University of British Columbia at Vancouver, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a renowned author and lecturer. One of the original faculty members at P.A.C.~live, Dr. Lowe was previously Director of the Posterior program at P.A.C.~live before taking on the Clinical Director position in June of 2002. "Vancouver is such a great venue for this program. It's a beautiful city with an amazing landscape, incredible skiing, wonderful shopping and some of the best restaurants in North America. The current exchange rate makes the program very attractive for American dentists, but the program's Canadian discounts also allow easy access to this type of program for my Canadian colleagues," says Lowe.
Donna Dainius, Director of Continuing Education at UBC says "We're very pleased to have them hold a program at our facility, and we are extremely proud that one of our alumni is now leading P.A.C.~live."
