Pinnacle Practices to host November workshop in Houston

The workshop is open to both doctors and their team members, and will feature step-by-step instruction on the latest dental cosmetic technology, as well as leadership and management strategies.

Pinnacle Practices Inc., the largest in-office dental consulting firm in the Southwest, is offering a clinical and educational workshop for dentists Friday, Nov. 14, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hotel Derek in Houston. Participating dentists will receive eight continuing education credit hours, four of which are clinical credits, recognized by the Academy of General Dentistry.

The workshop is open to both doctors and their team members, and will feature step-by-step instruction on the latest dental cosmetic technology, as well as leadership and management strategies.

For dentists, registration is $200 by the Oct. 17 deadline and $250 thereafter. There will be a $50 charge per team member. David Little, DDS, most recently featured on the cover of the August issue of "Dental Economics," will present the clinical workshop, "The Future of Dentistry: Utilizing the Latest All-ceramic Technology for Crown, Bridge and Implant Restorations." Dr. Little practices in San Antonio, Texas, and is an international speaker and consultant on emerging restorative techniques and materials. He is a graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School and is a fellow in both the International and American College of Dentistry.

Andy McKamie, DDS, will present the leadership management lecture on "Imagine the Possibilities: Achieving Your Goals Through Your Team." Dr. McKamie, who has practiced for 20 years in Bethany, Okla., lectures regularly for the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, his alma mater, and for Pinnacle Practices. He specializes in helping dentists achieve both personal and professional success.
