Educational objectives
The overall goal of this course is to provide dental professionals with information on the introduction of radiographic imaging to dentistry and the more recent evolution of dental imaging towards 3-dimensional imaging with cone-beam CT. Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to do the following:

  1. List the principles of cone beam computerized tomography (CBCT)
  2. State the dosage considerations and the comparative doses with traditional radiographs and computerized tomography (CT)
