CHICO, California--Lares Research, a laser provider with Academy of Laser Dentistry recognition, is offering its laser seminar on a CD-ROM.
The seminar, titled "Lasers in Dentistry: Practice, Patients, and Profitability," was designed to provide enough information for clinicians to make an informed decision as to whether laser technology is right for their practice.
The CD-ROM is being offered free of charge for a limited time. Lares is the only laser supplier offering a laser training program that will earn the dentist ALD Standard Proficiency Certification.
The 2-hour-long CD-ROM provides an overview of laser technology and
covers use of lasers for hard and soft tissue as well as specific procedures that can be performed with a dental laser. Information on the economics of lasers (how and why they increase practice income) is also included.
Topics covered are laser physics, laser-tissue interaction, types of lasers (all popular dental laser wavelengths are discussed), types of laser delivery systems (fibers, articulated arms, hollow waveguides, etc.), and the clinical applications of hard and soft tissue lasers with indications for use.
The CD-ROM contains live patient video of soft and hard tissue procedures using Er:YAG and Nd:YAG lasers. Included is information on how clinicians can expand their practices and improve their profitability through the addition of a laser.
To request a postage-paid, free CD-ROM, call (800) 347-3289, ext. 279, or send an e-mail to: [email protected].
