SOUTH BEND, Indiana—Heraeus Kulzer, a leader in dental esthetics, has announced that the PalaMeter prosthetic measurement device has been awarded a patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The PalaMeter is a multi-faceted measurement tool that was developed by Heraeus Kulzer and Dr. Andreas Polei in close cooperation with dental technicians and dentists to simplify the daily work of dental laboratories and practices. Practical in design and made from flexible material, its helpful color coding makes the PalaMeter easy to use. The PalaMeter can be used to measure: the width of a gap, the esthetic curve, dimensions for implantology, appliance width, the vertical dimension, the dental arch, the height of incisal length, and the position of the mandibular arch in relation to the maxilla.
