Midmark Corporation recently donated medical and dental equipment to the Ronald McDonald House Charities touring Care Mobile unit.
The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program is a fleet of state-of-the-art vehicles that deliver medical and dental care free of charge directly to underserved children in their own neighborhoods. Unlike most mobile clinics, the Ronald McDonald House Care Mobile units are designed and built specifically as pediatric health care units, and are tailored to the specific needs of the local communities they serve. There are thirteen Care Mobiles currently on the road.
Midmark donated equipment including a Biltmore dental chair, a universal dental light, and two stools to be utilized by the dentist and assistant, as well as a 419 Treatment Chair with programmability and a stool for the physician.
"Midmark is proud to participate in this program," said Shirley Magoteaux, vice president of corporate services & community relations at Midmark. "We design our products with both the physician and patient in mind incorporating the highest standards of quality. Knowing that this equipment is being used to help children who would not receive medical treatment otherwise is a direct personification of our motto ? because we care."
