ClikTech Inc. has announced additions to the ComfyRay line of sensor holders. ComfyRay XT skinny—in sizes 1 and 2—will now fit thinner sensors, including Ray sensors, XDR sensors, Suni sensors, the original black Schick CDR sensor, Planmeca sensors, and others. These new holders join the original ComfyRay series in sizes 1 and 2, which fit Carestream RVG, Gendex, and Schick Elite/33 sensors. The line is rounded out by the DX 1.5+, designed to fit Dexis and Dexis Platinum sensors.
ComfyRay sensor holders are designed to take all intraoral views: anterior, posterior, and both vertical and horizontal bitewings with just one holder, one ring, and one rod. In addition, the patent-pending Shark Fin Biteplane is designed to work around a rubber dam for endodontic procedures and provide open access for implant post views.
