Bogobrush has been on the hunt for a completely biodegradable toothbrush, but they’ve concluded that it’s just not easy being green.
Despite having searched “high and low” for the ideal bristles that can clean teeth and degrade naturally, they’ve had no such luck.
Instead, they’re producing the current Bogobrush with Nylon Tynex bristles – the highest quality of Nylon Tynex bristles available, in fact. For now, you can compost your toothbrush handle – you’ve just got to pull the bristles out first.
We’ll keep you updated on Bogobrush’s path towards 100% biodegradability. Until then, enjoy this simple, elegant, and mostly biodegradable toothbrush.
