Soft Dental Grips allow instruments to be held with less muscular force, thus reducing work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

Soft Dental Grips are a patented grip that retrofits existing dental instruments.

The grips allow instruments to be held with less muscular force, thus reducing work-related musculoskeletal disorders.

Products are designed as add-ons to thin, hand-held dental instruments. They expand the diameter to one-half inch, requiring less muscular force to hold the instrument. Because less force is required, the operator has greater tactile sensitivity.

A thicker mirror handle can allow the operator to switch from a thumb/finger grip to a palm grip, offering relief during the working day from constant force generation. There are two varieties of grips: a disposable, pillow-soft foam mirror grip and a permanent silicone air cell grip.

Rather than purchasing a new, expensive rigid-thick handled instrument, you can choose to buy a classic, thin- handled one and use an add-on grip to make it comfortable and safe.
