VOCO Ionolux AC

VOCO has introduced Ionolux AC, a new immediately packable light-cured, glass ionomer restorative. After application, the packable, nonsticky consistency allows the clinician to pack and shape the material right away with an instrument instead of waiting before polymerization reaches this state.The resin reinforcement gives Ionolux a high flexural strength of 220 MPa. This helps make it suited for lining in the sandwich technique, Class III and V, and small Class I restorations.Ionolux does not require dentin conditioning or surface sealant. VOCO’s advanced filler technology gives the nonsticky material a high translucency and good polishability that leads to esthetic results.
