New Philips Zoom take-home whitening system has power of three

LOS ANGELES, California--Philips, makers of Zoom whitening products and Sonicare power toothbrushes, has announced updating of a take-home whitening formula to help improve patient experience and compliance.

The innovation to Philips Zoom DayWhite and NiteWhite delivers the power of three elements, which are key to efficiacy and safety for patients. The new formula increases the level of potassium nitrate. Potassium nitrate has been shown to help reduce tooth sensitivity.

Philips Zoom contains amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP), which protects enamel and helps improve the smoothness of teeth, and fluoride* to help reduce tooth decay. This move marks the first formula change in nearly four years, and also includes a new and improved mint flavor to further enhance patients’ whitening experience.

The Philips Zoom formulas are take-home whitening gels with ACP that have been shown to deliver enamel protection** for a healthy white smile. In addition, NiteWhite with ACP has been shown to help reduce tooth color fadeback in patients after six months.

An added benefit for dental professionals is the product’s patented dual-barrel 2.4 ml syringe technology, which provides guaranteed gel stability through its shelf life without refrigeration and delivers six applications per syringe.
