AUSTIN, Texas--iKey, a manufacturer of medical-grade keyboards and mice, has announced compatibility of the DW-860 keyboard with STERRAD 100NX Sterilization System. The DW-860 is a keyboard endorsed to be fully compatible with this sterilization method.Manufactured by Advanced Sterilization Products, the STERRAD 100NX uses low-temperature hydrogen peroxide gas plasma sterilization to provide a rapid disinfection method for medical instruments. iKey’s DW-860 wireless medical keyboard was tested for compatibility and efficacy with the STERRAD 100NX system in accordance with AAMI/ISO standards.
