First-ever hydrokinetic material

Discus Dental, Inc. introduces the first-ever hydrokinetic impression material — Precision™. For total clinical control, unsurpassed accuracy, and outstanding predictability, Precision represents a new class of impression materials.

Moisture displacement is critical when taking final impressions, and traditional VPS materials do not record accurately when exposed to moisture. While most VPS materials now claim to be hydrophilic, Precision is the first to seek out and displace moisture from the prepared site. As the tissue rehydrates during impression-taking, Precision continues to flow into sulcular pockets and remove the moisture, propelling it toward the outer surfaces of the impression. Precision is available in four vibrantly colored viscosities and three patient-friendly flavors.
