CEREC to celebrate 20 years of restorations

March 15, 2006
Milestone will be recognized Oct. 13-15 at Bally's in Las Vegas.

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina-- CEREC, a chairside CAD/CAM restorative method, is celebrating 20 years of successful restorations.

The first CEREC patient was treated by the inventor of CEREC, Professor Dr. Werner Mörmann, on Sept. 25, 1985. Today, more than 16,000 practitioners worldwide are creating their own CEREC restorations.

This impressive milestone will be celebrated Oct. 13¿15 at Bally's in Las Vegas. This world-class destination offers more than just gambling, premium entertainment, and award-winning golf courses.

For a few days this year, Las Vegas will be host for the Who's Who of CEREC, featuring three days with the top names in CAD/CAM. Also, CE courses will be available.

The Experience, which will be held immediately prior to the ADA Annual Session in Las Vegas, will provide dentists with an opportunity to meet and mingle with CEREC colleagues, share stories, and celebrate the decision they made to use CEREC.

Education
The Experience will offer approximately 16 hours of CE credit with courses from the top names in CAD/CAM and general dentistry. Attendees can follow one of 6 educational tracts, or pick and choose from the wide selection of courses available. Doctors will want to bring their staff as Assistant's courses will provide valuable material for supporting CEREC treatments.

There will be activities of interest to inLab users as well, with many renowned dental technicians speaking, including Lee Culp, CDT. The educational program will begin with an address from the inventor of CEREC, Prof. Dr. Werner Mörmann. He will be followed by top CEREC speakers like Dr. Mark Morin, Dr. Dennis Fasbinder, and Dr. Ross Nash. New stars in the CAD/CAM field will also be offering their own perspectives on integrating CEREC in the practice, creating award-winning aesthetics, and software tips and tricks.

Entertainment
While education will be the focus during the day, in the evening fun comes first! The first night of the program brings a private Penn & Teller show brought exclusively to event attendees by Vita. Named "Las Vegas Magicians of the Year" you'll want to stick around after the show to meet these outrageous entertainers.

Saturday morning begins bright and early with an address from comedian Jay Leno. He'll share stories from his three decades spent in show business. And Saturday night you won't want to miss Flock of CERECs. This 80's themed event at the Hard Rock will be the party you'll be talking about for years to come. All entertainment events are included with event tuition!
