Dental office coordinator shares her story after Boston Marathon bomb explosions

Karen Swanton was about three blocks past the finish of the Boston Marathon finish line when she heard the explosions.

"The first thought was an explosion, but then someone said it was a transformer," Swanton, a dental office coordinator in Saginaw Township, Mich., told MLive.com. "It was like thunder. Then there was a second one. We had just picked up our medal. We looked around and saw a ton of smoke."
