Dear Colleagues,
The ADIA is following a common theme this month … technology. We started the month at the RDH Under One Roof meeting in Orlando. What an incredible weekend of lectures, workshops, exhibits, and camaraderie. I was fortunate enough to share education on Dental Implant Assessment and Maintenance in an incredible workshop format that, you guessed it, used technology. I would like to thank our sponsor, Hu-Friedy, for the opportunity to deliver this program. Our participants loved the innovation that allowed the demonstration of maintenance techniques, oral hygiene product manipulation, and detailed prosthetic information presented on the big screen. Participants also had the models and instruments at their fingertips to practice the methods they were learning.
I am currently in Germany ready to deliver the ADIA Dental Team Implant Certification Program live to an audience and live on the Internet so auxiliaries in all parts of the world can unite through technology to learn. I would like to thank the Dental Tribune Study Club for their hard work and faith in the ADIA to make this event a reality. I’ll let you know more next month about how the experience goes.
We’ll be using technology to continue to bring you even more education and information in the upcoming months. Keep an eye on the digital journal and our e-News to stay up to date. In case you haven’t logged on in a while … remember that the members only section contains a live interactive forum designed to help you get information and assistance from fellow members about any office and implant concerns you may have. And don’t forget our monthly webinars are complimentary to all members.
Hope to “see” you on the Internet.
