This Friday and Saturday, I'm inviting you to come to a trade show ... a different kind of trade show. It's a trade show where you don't have to pay $4 for a soda and find a place along the wall to sit and eat lunch. It's a trade show you can attend in your Sunday best or in your pajamas. It's a trade show called DDS Tech Fair, it's virtual (meaning it takes place online in real time on your computer), and it's free.

I know already one of your thoughts. "Hello, Mr. Editor. It's called DDS Tech Fair, meaning it's for those with a DDS after their name, right?" Not necessarily. It's a show for all members of the dental team, and since you and I both know that the dental assistant is the backbone of the dental practice, doesn't it make sense that you would attend and see some of the latest products from some of the leading dental companies? Absolutely. I firmly believe that you need to be on the cutting edge when it comes to new products and procedures, and this online trade show is a great place to learn.

The keynote is by Dr. Gordon Christensen, who will be speaking on 45 products in 45 minutes. Topics such as diagnosis, treatment planning, fixed and removable prosthodontics, operative dentistry, endodontics, radiology, and more will be discussed. Along with Dr. Christensen's talk, lectures will be given on social networking and reputation management, and how it takes a team to close a case. Yes, these are valuable talks that can help further your career.

It's this weekend (Friday and Saturday). It's free. It's on your computer. What more can I say?
