Latest software version offers new features for dental practitioner
DES PLAINES, Illinois--DEXIS, LLC has announced DEXIS Release 8, the latest version of its popular imaging software that provides dentists with a total digital diagnostic imaging solution.
In keeping with the goal of excellence in both image quality and software adaptability, DEXIS--an innovator in digital imaging for nearly a decade--offers exciting enhancements.
"DEXIS is committed to creating the very best in diagnostics and in software solutions that generate efficiency in the clinical environment," states Stanzi Prell, Vice President of Marketing at DEXIS.
"Release 8 incorporates latest DEXIS technologies like ClearCaptureTM and provides our owners with even greater image quality and even more diagnostic information while also offering a highly customizable system, that can be adjusted to individual workflow preferences."
With its continued focus on the diagnostic fundamentals that are vital to all dentists, DEXIS introduces ClearCapture. This new technology utilizes an innovative method of image processing which optimizes the signal path between image acquisition and onscreen display thus resulting in even clearer, more detailed radiographs.
Additionally, DEXIS' acclaimed image enhancement tool ClearVu has been further improved to deliver images that are even sharper and richer in contrast. By default, ClearVu is now globally applied to all radiographs on the patient screen including the thumbnail previews.
DEXIS recognizes the necessity for digital communication between dental professionals. With Release 8, interactions are easier than ever before. For instance, a complete full mouth series or bitewing series can now be conveniently shared via e-mail as a single image.
In addition, images can now be exported including annotations, drawings, and implants.
Unrivaled in its understanding of clinical workflow, DEXIS increases its customizable features that support the clinician in his/her daily workflow. These augmented tools of flexible display options and user-defined choices operate seamlessly 'behind the scenes' in Release 8, reinforcing the DEXIS philosophy that imaging software should adjust to the clinician, rather than the clinician to the software.
