Each book sold generates $1,300 in dental treatment for people with disabilities or who are elderly or medically fragile and cannot afford care through Dental Lifeline’s Donated Dental Services (DDS) program. Total DDS treatment nationwide exceeds $24 million annually, and is donated by more than 15,000 dentists and over 3,600 laboratories that volunteer.
One hundred percent of DentaCheques proceeds support DDS and Dental Lifeline Network including the cost of program coordinators who screen applicants, match dentists and patients and arrange for labs and specialists, as needed.
