On October 19, health professionals and lay people from around the globe will meet in Vienna, Virginia for what promises to be a history making event.
“From clinical awareness and scientific study, we know that what happens in the mouth is reflected in the body, and what happens in the body is reflected in the mouth.” says Dr. Dawn Ewing, executive director of the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine (IABDM). “With so much misinformation swirling about, we are committed to setting the record straight by delivering evidence-based findings related to whole body health. For this reason, both doctor and patient will find this meeting an invaluable resource in guiding their health decisions.”
The October meeting, with the theme “Outside the Box: Advances in Biological Dentistry and Medicine,” will be held at The Sheraton Premier at Tyson’s Corner in Vienna, VA, and will feature a veritable Who’s Who in biological, integrative, and holistic dentistry and medicine. They will speak on such topics as mercury detoxification, homeopathy ‘medicine that works,’ treatment of the motor component of movement sisorder patients, Type II hypothyroidism, and more.
The meeting’s featured presenter will be honorary IABDM Member Dr. Joseph Mercola, DO, physician, health activist, founder of natural health website Mercola.com, and one of the most sought after speakers in the medical community.
Attendees will qualify for up to 17 Dental CEU’s (State of California), as well as PACE Accreditation by the Academy of General Dentistry. Medical CME is available upon request.
The IABDM is a network of dentists, physicians, and allied health professionals committed to integrating body, mind, spirit, and mouth in caring for the whole person. Its members are dedicated to advancing excellence in the art and science of biological dentistry by encouraging the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsible patient care.
